I don’t really know how long I’ve had these excessive daydreams but all I know is that they make me hate myself a lot more. Like in these daydreams I’m considered the most beautiful and the most talented and real life I just am not but it makes me feel good. I also find myself daydreaming to music a lot and I always do some kind of swaying motion. I know it’s unhealthy and I just want it to stop. Please someone help me.

Idealized self characters are very common in MDers. Often, even non-MDers have them, though they can control their daydreaming and it's usually just as a temporary escape from a stressful situation.
Trying to determine why you feel the need to escape from reality so much is usually a good place to start. This is usually other mental illnesses, loneliness, low self-worth, etc. Once you know why you can work on dealing with it in a healthier way.
