as with many things in my life I didn't realize I had MD until someone noted it to me, apparently I've been using daydreaming as a tool of escapism and coping with stressful events especially as of late. I'm going back to school this Thursday and I'm extremely anxious about it, while all my friends are preparing themselves I find myself laying in bed living one of the many lifes I created in my imagination. I'm glad I found this forum, I'll try to use it when I can and hopefully it'll help provide me with some much needed support, I'll also try to be supportive to the rest of the people here

i can really relate to this when dealing with stress around school. i’d rather daydreaming a less stressful life then deal with the real stressful life. i really hope you seek consultation from here! -also a new member
