Happy New Year! It's hard to believe that it's 2021 already, but it is, so it's time for a new accountability/goals thread!
For those who have not participated before, these threads are a place for you to share any goals that you might have and to give and receive encouragement in achieving them. We make a new thread each month, but your goals don't have to be monthly; they can be as short or long term as you'd like. They also don't have to be MD-related.
We can't wait to hear your goals!

I'm not sure exactly what my goals for this month are right now. The past few months have... sucked, to say the least. I need to talk to my therapist and my success coach from school before I make any decisions moving forward. However, I do still want to work on sitting with my emotions and do more self care and reflection than I did this past year. I'll try to remember to update you all once I make my decisions.

I hope to try harder, my hardest actually. During 2020 depression kicked in and I found myself not enjoying much anymore. I really hope this year I can get better and push forth my effort. Especially in school too. I hope my MD gets better as I usually spend about 4 hours daily doing it. Although it is hard to try and stop it, almost to the point that I think I never will be able to; I hope that it does not effect much anymore. I hope that this can be a new start for me, and for many others. As I know that we all on here are dealing with MD. Stay true to yourself and know that your not alone<3 Thank you so much for reading!
