I'm 13 years old and I just found out about this disorder, and I know that I do this quite a lot, but haven't quite found out why. does anyone know common triggers because its becoming a big issue and it distracts me from almost all of my school work and sleep.

that does sound about right for me, especially during quarantine, but music also helps me work too, is there any way for me to listen to music for studying and not daydream?

If you want to listen to music to help with studying, but find that its a trigger, I would recommend trying to find a genre that is less triggering. For example, I would have a hard time studying without daydreaming if I were listening to music that I usually daydream to. However, listening to calming piano or otherwise instrumental music would be less likely to cause me to daydream because that type of music isn't a trigger for me.
As for other triggers, I find that anything that causes discomfort is a huge trigger because I use daydreaming to escape from things that make me uncomfortable. This ranges from emotion to social situations.
