Hi everyone, Very recently learnt about MD. Had no idea this is what i’ve Been doing since I was a little child. It’s very much a coping mechanism for the the void in my life, but an unhealthy one way that doesn’t alleviate the underlying problem. It’s not something I can control and can occur without me realising and when I do realise it minutes could’ve passed and it plays out in my facial expressions which can be embarrassing. It’s very potent and quickly lose myself in it. Other days it’s more a way of escaping my reality and I can end up daydreaming for hours, lost in scenarios with iddylic outcomes largely related to my real life unhappy situations. if that’s the right kind of introduction. Admittedly I’ve never been on a forum before. Daydreaming aside I am attempting to be a student, complete uni, get a career and all that. I’m much older that most students but I’m ultimately happy I’m taking this step. I just need to focus on getting my work done rather than daydreaming about it! Ha! As the name suggests i have 2 adorable rabbits. Feel free to say hi or ask questions x

Welcome to the forum! Thank you for your story - I’m sure most of us can relate to this. Daydreaming tends to become uncontrollable in our situations but we are here to fight for control over it together. Btw feel free to share the pics of your rabbits in the gallery board if you wish 🐇 🐇🐇

Hello, Welcome to Daydream in Blue.
Good luck with your studies and let us know how you are getting along with them. Hopefully we can help you come up with ways not to be too distracted by your daydreams.

Don't worry, Rabbit Lady, forums are pretty nice once you get the hang of them; don't be nervous about posting or anything, MDers seem to be a really chill and supportive bunch.
