Hello! My name is James but I go by Luvl12/Luv online. I've been daydreaming sense I can remember. Over the years, the scenarios have changed quite a bit, but the earliest is definitely Scooby-Doo related. Some other notable universes include: - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
- Dragon Ball Z Kai
- Hetalia
- Corpse Party
- Hunger Games
- The Walking Dead Game
Occasionally my daydreams will also be imaginings of my future, but I'm better at catching those after getting hurt by them more than once.
Currently, most of my daydreams surround The Walking Dead Game: 400 Days DLC (real specific, I know). The succinct stories and characters are easy for my mind to manipulate and imagine. My other popular daydream is from Dragon Ball Z specifically with the Ginyu Force, Zarbon, and Vegeta. In both of these daydreams, I am kind of an underdog? Like, I'm a writer by trade, so I'm good at making semi-believable situations, but my self-insert must always come out on top.
I don't know why I started daydreaming. I suppose it was to put me to sleep as a child, but now I do it to escape my ~real life~ because *shocker* the real world is stressful, and I love slipping into a reality I have complete control over. However, it does pull me away from my school work, regular work, and friends because-oh no!- I keep replaying the same scene in my head and-oh no again!- someone's foot is in the wrong place or the dialogue is just not right so now I have to replay the entire scene until it's *perfect*.
So that's my introduction. Some smaller, yet new, issues include beginning to talk aloud to some of the scenarios and making faces that align with the scenarios.

Welcome to the forum, James!
Daydreaming itself is completely normal. Pretty much everyone daydreams to some extent. It only becomes maladaptive (and thus not normal) when it interferes with your ability to function.
