Hi! I'm Ari, and probably have been suffering from MD since childhood and want to improve.

Hello! So in my MD world, a lot of my characters serve as a kind of voice of reason. I get a lot of creative ideas from MD, but also if I need to think something over or I'm stressing out, sometimes I'll talk things over with the closest few of my characters. I don't have anyone to talk about my problems in real life, I'm a listener. It's both refreshing to hear and they've always managed to provide good advice. I know I'm controlling it all, but the characters act so in-character that it's almost like they're independent in a way. The nice thing about MD is that you always get to where you want to go. If I'm struggling with deciding something, having an imaginary conversation helps me. It doesn't feel like my own judgement and because it's MD, I get the outcome I want (9/10) and then be able to execute it in real life. If I'm stressed too, I'll do this. I often write stories about me confessing or venting to my other characters. Rereading them feels nice. Is this not normal or unhealthy or is it okay? Does anyone else do this?
