Hi, it took me some time to but I'm glad to have found this support group. Though there has been a time, I seemed to have lost the ' ability' to MD, I have used it for a whole week more than half a year ago. ( that was my longest as far as I remember). Obviously with interruptions through my family, but they were short and I could slip in and out quite easily. At that time it helped to do my dayly tasks better and without getting frustrated. And this is exactly why I might not be a good memeber of this support group. I am not yet willing or able to view it as something " bad". It makes reality more bareble, prevents me from breaking completely. Oh I'm old and have kids.

Welcome to the forum!
You don’t necessarily have to view your MD as a bad thing in order to be a member here. Not everyone considers it to be a bad thing. However, if it truly doesn’t interfere with your ability to function, you might just be immersive daydreaming. The hallmark of MD is that it’s maladaptive; it interferes with your ability to complete tasks or develop and keep healthy interpersonal relationships or to feel satisfied with your everyday life.
