Hi I’m if this has been asked before, so I apologise if it’s being repeated, but does anyone else find that if they develop an MD episode on a real life person or a someone famous that other people in their lives also become very significant? Like becoming concerned with the person’s family or friends and making them a part of your daydreams too? I find that I’m usually friends or close with one of their family members or friends, and in my mind the actual person the MD is on will see what sort of person I am, and kind of get to know me like that. I really hope I haven’t confused anyone and that I’m making sense. Feel free to ask more if you like.

Sometimes! But I try to avoid daydreaming about people that I actually interact with because it affects my real life relationship with them and I don’t like that.

It’s good to know I’m not the only one. I can understand that completely, I had it in someone in the workplace once which greatly affected the way I worked there. It wasn’t easy.
