Hello, I have been daydreaming for about 10 years now. I often dream about fantasy storys to escape from reality. I know that MD can affect my life and I should try to overcome it, but I am scared of the aftermath. I fear that my life might become more 'gray' and my depression is winning. Do you know what I could do? Because I am really scared sometimes.

I've been there too. The feeling of losing the only thing that's keeping you sane can be very exhausting. Instead of just trying to stop MDing, you can try to replace it. Find something that actually adds color to your and also dose not interfere with it. Example for me I've always liked to exercise or be creative before I fell into depression hence I tried going back to it and it worked, it did take a lot of time like a year but it did work little by little. You might also be afraid of not being able to control things as in DDs but you have to slowly learn to accept it, it will be easier once you do it.
