Hi, this is the first ever online support group I have ever joined, so I'm a bit nervous about talking. for the past couple of months I have been suspecting I have MD because for the past couple of years I have been daydreaming that I have a imaginary family which includes a husband, two children, a brother, a mother in law and more than one brother in law. this all started when Jason Roscoe was in Hollyoaks and I would imagine that I was married to him and over the years it has progressed to this, to the point where I imagine all types of scenarios in my head and act them, I would sit there in class and just imagine scenarios for three quarters of the lesson. I don't why I have these and I'm only 15, so I would be grateful if you could tell some coping strategies. thank you x

IMO, for school; If you don't have assigned seating sit in the front center. Google active note-taking skills (everyone should do that but for MDers is especially valuable). Don't be scared to ask for help if you are falling behind, one on one with a teacher or tutor will keep you more engaged than sitting through a lecture. Also doing home assignments in public spaces always helped me, could never get anything done at home because I'd go straight to my bedroom to DD, a library, cafe, study period, a "working lunch", or if you have to work at home stay in the living room or kitchen, yes there are many distractions, but usually less distracting than the constant pull of MD.
