After being asked if I could post a photo of my cosplay costume. I have asked my dad how to do it. He said it looks like I have to join a website to upload my photo to. Take the photo with my cell phone click the share button upload it to the website I've joined then somehow link it to this website. He said it would be easier to attach it to an email instead. Is the way dad told me correct or is there an easier way to post a photo on this website?

“Attachments” it’s not in the little tool bar with the “image” “link” buttons, it’s off to the side a bit.

So, the way it works is this: Your dad is right. You need to get your photo onto the web someplace where you can get a URL that points to it. It can't be on your phone or computer, but possibly it can be on twitter or instagram (I don't have those so I'm ). The way I did this was to copy the link for this photo. I hit the "Reply" button on this thread. You will see a bunch of buttons at the top and one of those is a photo icon. Select that and a box will pop up. Paste your link to the "http://" in one of the text boxes. That does it. I also see an "Add Attachment" button. I'm going to see of that works too.

The first pick was linked, the second one was an added attachment. They both work. The first was you can link to instagram or twitter, the second way you can upload an attachment. Good luck!

After wondering why I wasn't seeing the buttons after hitting reply I clicked the desktop button at the bottom of the page to change the way the website appears on my phone. Boy what a difference that made. The website looks completely different now. I can see the buttons now.
