Does anyone know of any podcasts or youtube videos about MDD that would help explain it to someone who doesn't have it? I'm looking for something that explains how far reaching the effects are to someone who replies "Oh, yeah, I daydream too." No, you don't understand.. I live there more than I live *here*. lol

Dimmer has made some youtube videos on MD, but I'm not sure if they cover that exact topic. The @/beyonddaydreaming account on Instagram has some good posts that might help and the owner is planning on making podcasts and stuff, but I don't think that they currently have anything out. This is a pretty informative video, though I don't like that they said that the cause for MD is trauma. Trauma can be a cause and certainly a trigger for MD, but not everyone who daydreams maladaptively has severe trauma in their past or PTSD in their present and I think that it can be misleading and inaccurate to assume that everyone who daydreams maladaptively has experienced severe trauma in their life.

Thank you XD... idk if they're helpful for your situation, but if you go to the 'playlists' part of my channel I have saved just about every video I could find about MD on Youtube, might find somethung useful in the "informative" or "self story" playlist.
