I have my strategies to help me control my MD which are going well but I want to note that been away from technology and doing something that inspires you to take charge of find out who we are without MD is good at reducing MD. Also looking forward to things in life gives more meaning to be in reality.
This has been hard for me I found out about MD 2 years ago and only have been working on what I want to do with it and putting my mind to seeking help with my mental issues as well has motivating myself to get up and do things daily to help me unwind.
I started replacing my daydreaming with walking found that I wanted to walk so much it calm down and so my MD went up again. While thinking about this I taught that I have to be getting on and doing things with my life more. I started spending more time with people I enjoy to be around with and don't focus on what I have gone though but know about it.
As for self image and who I am I work on daily as this is a tricky thing with MD and is personal for us. I only have one main MD character and her personality represents me so its easy for me to work on the one and get the ball rolling. I have been writing out what my qualities are and working on them more which I find is a good thing. If we can see some of our self in are main characters or some qualities that er us
I think there are different ways for everyone on how to control and get hold of whats going on for all of us because everyone life is going along at its own pace and we decide what we want and can do in life. What might work for one daydreamer might not work for someone else. Its important to have some focus on certain things to help you along the way of what is treating this yourself. People might need more help with it than others as it has different levels of severity.
