I can't believe its October already. Anyways, here is the thread where you can post your goals for the month and give/receive encouragement in achieving them. For those who haven't seen or participated in these threads before, no goal is too small. A lot of us have trouble working on goals, so this thread is just a place to talk about them. Personally, I'm back on that "I have way too many big goals" thing again. - I would like to finish reteaching myself chemistry, since I didn't quite finish last month. I only have 2 sections left, so it should be relatively easy to finish this month. Once that's done, I need to figure out which math and English topics I need to brush up on before I take college class placement exams.
- On a related note, I'm currently talking to an enrollment advisor and depending on their answers to my latest batch of questions, I might begin the enrollment process this month, or at least I'll want to schedule out when I do want to send in my application.
- Once I get the checks that I ordered yesterday, I need to file my doing business as statement. I expect that it will take most of the month before I can send it in and get it approved.
- While I'm waiting for the doing business as statement to be filed, I need to work on doing other tasks to get my store up and running after the holidays. Right now that's mainly buying supplies and figuring out shipping and pricing and stuff.
- I want to start videochatting with a few of my friends more frequently.
- I need to chose a primary care physician, since I was supposed to do that after I turned 18 (a year and a half ago) and its been almost 2 years since I had a physical.
I'm sure that there are other things that I could put as goals, but those are the main ones that I'm thinking of right now.
Please don't let my bigger goals turn you off the idea of posting things that are small. Every goal is important and worth being on this thread.

Oh yeah, those are really big goals Sam. And a lot of them, too... Great! Go for it! I feel like I'm still stuck at my little ones, but here we go. 1. I don't want to do any DIY-stuff in my flat this month. Next month maybe, but I think I'm using a lot of energy I should spend on other things. (Ha, a negative goal, easy win here :-) ) 2. I want to eat out alone at least once. 3. Walking tour. Again. I want to do a longer trip, but that's more like a goal-of-the-year thing, so I have to practice. 4. I want to work with my ACT-workbook. Every day. Not very ambitious this month... Well, small steps and all that.

Its took me a while to think about my goals for this month here they are;
To find something to keep my mind at ease when I am trying to sort out what to do when not giving in to certain triggers. i.e. boredom
To write out how I am feeling when I don't know how to channel my taughts healthy i.e. I over eat when I get too upset about something and I don't want to daydream. I can't handle negative feelings because of personal matters
These may be small but big challenges for me mentally. :)

I'll probably add more as I the month progresses but for now I'm starting small
1. As always I need to declutter. I've started listing things to sell so my aim is to sell at least £100 worth of stuff by the end of the month and actually save the money as I tend to boredom/stress buy.
2. Attend at least one new social group. Even if it doesn't work out at least I can tell myself that I tried.
3. Book another craft workshop.

For now these are my goals.
1. One week without daydreaming, (I'm trying not listening music at all)
2. Doing homework in less time. I mean manage my time effectively.
3. Doing something about my dream; making prosthetics. Can be studying, searching, design, idk, something, all I do is daydreaming that I do something related to it.
4. Find a job, I really want to work. I'm too lazy.

Trying to balance your daydreams and your real life is perhaps an easier goal, since not daydreaming at all isn't even something that non-MDers are usually capable of. But let us know how it goes :)

For now these are my goals. 3. Doing something about my dream; making prosthetic. Can be studying, searching, design, idk, something, all I do is daydreaming that I do something related to it. With making prosthetics I'm getting two results. Do you mean making prosthetic limbs or do you mean make up? Fore the second there are soo many youtube tutorials and as its Halloween soon its the perfect time to have a go! Good luck with that goal. It sounds really interesting.

I want to make limb prosthetics, I'm meeting with informatics Engineers in my university, I'm just one designer and a bunch of informatics dudes xd, it's kinda cool. Now there is a event where we are going to make a robotic arm, I'm not gonna miss it :3. You are soo sweet >w< , Thanks for the good vibes, (//>w<//)

I saw a video of people using 3D printers to make arms which was really impressive. Good luck at the event. and I really hope you reach your goals. Keep us all updated as it would be great to see how you progress in this field x

So I think I'll update my goals as its nearly halfway through the month
1. As always I need to declutter. I've started listing things to sell so my aim is to sell at least £100 worth of stuff by the end of the month and actually save the money as I tend to boredom/stress buy. - Strangely I managed this quite easily. The only real issue I had was with people collecting stuff. So many either didn't show, ran really late, were rude, or wanted things a lot cheaper then they were worth.
2. Attend at least one new social group. Even if it doesn't work out at least I can tell myself that I tried. - I did this. The group was awful and even the person I went with agreed and he is Mr sociable. I won't go back to that one but at least now I know what it is like.
3. Book another craft workshop.- I did and it was cancelled. Nothing else has come up yet but I'm still looking.
I'm going to add two more goals as the first two on my list I've managed but I will still continue to get rid of stuff.
4. Drink more water. I rarely drink anything other than tea so I need to start adding in a few glasses of water.
5. Read a book or at least start one. I use to read all the time but I stopped as my concentration got worse.

Its a little past the halfway point for this month, but I was waiting to finish some stuff before posting an update.
I would like to finish reteaching myself chemistry, since I didn't quite finish last month. I only have 2 sections left, so it should be relatively easy to finish this month. Once that's done, I need to figure out which math and English topics I need to brush up on before I take college class placement exams. I finished with chemistry yesterday, and while I wouldn't say my knowledge is perfect, I can at least say that I understand a hell of a lot more than I did when I finished high school chemistry 2 years ago.
On a related note, I'm currently talking to an enrollment advisor and depending on their answers to my latest batch of questions, I might begin the enrollment process this month, or at least I'll want to schedule out when I do want to send in my application. I finished my application today. I'll hopefully figure out early next week what else I need to send to them and then maybe be accepted a few weeks after that? Idk about the timeline. But as of right now, if I'm accepted (I should be), I'm set to start the exploratory social and behavior sciences program (I couldn't pick a major) in March 2020.
Once I get the checks that I ordered yesterday, I need to file my doing business as statement. I expect that it will take most of the month before I can send it in and get it approved. I sent the doing business as statement to the county clerks by mail I think earlier this week. I haven't heard anything about it being filed yet, and I should probably figure out whether they're going to notify me or not.
While I'm waiting for the doing business as statement to be filed, I need to work on doing other tasks to get my store up and running after the holidays. Right now that's mainly buying supplies and figuring out shipping and pricing and stuff. I got the supplies I needed to order through amazon ordered a few days ago and I have some of it already. The rest I have to wait for until after my doing business as statement is filed, since I can't order anything with my logo until then.
I want to start videochatting with a few of my friends more frequently. I did skype with a friend once earlier this month but I've been so busy since then that I haven't had time to do it again.
I need to chose a primary care physician, since I was supposed to do that after I turned 18 (a year and a half ago) and its been almost 2 years since I had a physical. I did finally pick a new primary care physician yesterday, so I'll probably go see her in November, since its been almost 2 years since my last physical and I have a number of health concerns that I've been ignoring that need to be checked out.
Needless to say, its been a very busy 2 weeks.

Done some still have a good way to go.
To write out how I am feeling when I don't know how to channel my taughts healthy i.e. I over eat when I get too upset about something and I don't want to daydream. I can't handle negative feelings because of personal matters.
Getting there talking more to people about my stress and worries.
Good Note: New aim sorted for next week getting out of my comfort Zone and starting the running club in my village Monday oh the nerves I am daydreaming because of the taught of it.

I did actually post an update sometime last week, I think. I've been doing pretty good, though I keep getting overwhelmed and daydreaming or doing something else that allows me to avoid dealing with the stress.

1. I don't want to do any DIY-stuff in my flat this month. Yes, I didn't do anything DIY. I did think about my bathroom and bought a few DIY-things but that doesn't count. :-)
2. I want to eat out alone at least once. Did it 4 or 5 times. It's getting a little bit easier. But only a little bit, I have to keep this going.
3. Walking tour. Again. I want to do a longer trip, but that's more like a goal-of-the-year thing, so I have to practice. I managed to do a few trips. 20km seems to be my daily-limit at the moment, I hope I can push it to 30km.
4. I want to work with my ACT-workbook. Every day. Failed. I don't really know why, there are good things in the book, but somehow I can't really relate. My anxiety seems to works differently.
I feel like I should have done a lot more. Well, next month maybe.
