Welcome to a new year! Here's a new accountability/goals thread. For those of you who haven't participated before, this thread is a place for you to post about any goals you might have. They could be big or small goals; short or long term. I usually do monthly goals, but you could do daily or weekly goals if you'd like. Really the whole point of this thread is to figure out what works for you and what helps you. You can give and receive encouragement in achieving your goals.
Personally, I have a lot going this month, so I'm going to set relatively few goals goals. I have 2 doctors appointments that I need to get to, which are part of the reason why I'm busy, but its hard for me to get to appointments so I'm counting it as a goal. Once I do that, I'll probably get a few referrals, so I should make some other appointments as well. I want to do some more socializing, hopefully watching at least 1 more movie with my friend. I start college on the 13th, and I would like to work on stress management and letting go of my perfectionism.
What are everyone else's goals?

Have you considered doing it via blogging? Not yet, but I think it would be a good idea. You know of any relevant blogging platforms? I don't post regularly, but both of my blogs are through Blogger. It seems to work okay, minus the fact that if you paste something from outside the blog into the post editor, save, and come back later, the formatting gets all messed up.

I will write a journal daily, starting today. I write in a journal/diary everyday too. I figured several years ago if I don't write a record of what I do each day then I'll forget what I did and it'll be like I never lived those days at all. That's part of the reason why I keep a diary so I don't forget the years I've lived. My goals for the year are to write a page of fanfiction each day. I took a break over the school holidays currently I'm writing a Pokemon fanfiction and to save up for a Nintendo switch. I've already bought two games for it but don't have a switch to play them on yet.

I finished with all of my scheduled appointments (two with primary care and one for bloodwork)! They were obviously stressful, but I still did them. I'm especially proud of myself for making it to todays appointment because I was even more stressed than usual.
I have another appointment with my primary care doctor set for February because we still haven't finished with all of my health concerns or done a physical. It turns out that not seeing doctors for years is a bad thing.
Now I get to schedule appointments for all of my referrals: gastroenterology, neurology, physical therapy, and dermatology. *cries*

Just realised I haven't actually written down my goals for the month.
1. Catch up with the coursework I've failed to do. 2. Start exercising again daily. 3. Sort out clothing and craft stuffs to bin, donate or sell.
Also if anyone knows of any good self help or habit tracking apps could they please share them with me or start a list in the resources section of the forum so that we can all see what is out there then may be beneficial to us all.

It's stressful now, but when it's over you will have so much less health related matters to stress over.

I've used Habitty and Trello in the past for habit tracking and to do lists, respectively.

Maybe a trip in near ski ressort, maybe a trip to amsterdam, but something 4th: do something about acquiring a flat. First goal: "dry january"> 4 days remaining, until now, it's a 100% success.
Second goal: ok for workout but nok for mindfull meditation. I'm now off track for 2 weeks (at least). I need to do something about it. My fantasies are very strong and my real life feel miserable.
Third goal: more or less a success, I have booked an hotel in a ski resort (Auron in French Alps) and a transportation for thursday and friday (only 2 days / one night). I should have booked the full week, weeks ago.
4th: I had an appointment to visit a flat, during my lunch break. I was on time! but the real estate was not! The building was however really ugly, and despite apologizes from the real estate agent for the stand up, I didn't ask for another appointment. I may change my mind next week because the price looked good.

I start college on the 13th, and I would like to work on stress management and letting go of my perfectionism. This month felt like a year and I was so busy. I made it to both of my doctors appointments, I had bloodwork done, and I stole my brothers dentist appointment, so I also went to the dentist. I also had a cold somewhere in that time, which made for a few super fun days. I literally only got sick 2 weeks ago, and it feels like it was like 3 months ago. I made about five billion new appointments: I have another follow up with my primary care on Feb 13, a psychiatrist appointment on March 4 to refill my meds, a gastroenterology appointment on March 5, and a dermatology appointment on March 20. I still need to make appointments for neurology and physical therapy. Happy fun times. I did get to watch another movie with my friend. I would have preferred to watch more, but we had some trouble scheduling them. We were supposed to watch one last Wednesday but my body decided that getting a migraine was more important. Its kind of hard to quantify my progress with stress management and perfectionism. I wouldn't say I'm doing great, but I could be doing a lot worse, so there's that.
