Hi everyone, I am a UK-based Trainee Clinical Psychologist seeking participants for my doctoral research. It is aiming to explore and understand more about people's experiences of 'Maladaptive Daydreaming' and in particular those who experience 'dark fantasies'. If you are interested in taking part then please follow the link here for more information and to fill in a brief (10-15 min) application questionnaire: cccusocialsciences.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0dDkzYruPCBZQDXWarm wishes, Amy

My daydreaming has always been dark and violent, but this has never bothered me. Your description doesn't make any note of the irl reaction to these, so... I am assuming it doesn't matter...? Just to be clear, you're not specifically looking for people who find the dark themes 'distressing'?
Also. these exclusion criteria:
Not really sure what those mean... like... what kind of stuff are we talking about, is seeing a therapist for anxiety considered "currently in treatment for MH difficulty"? Is dyslexia a "learning disability"?
