Sleep?

I know a lot of people with MD have trouble sleeping at night. Normally my daydreams don't effect me much but I have months where I can't sleep for more than 4 hours a night. It would be such a problem if I didn't have exams at school. I'm either too hiped up and distract everyone or too tired to function properly. Do you know any tactics and habits that can help me sleep at night?

My MD used to actually be a tool to help me sleep for times like that. I'd select a really boring or slow-moving storyling to dip into, just like what someone might do if they're reading a dull book before bed to make them sleepy. I'd listen to slow music to help things along, and daydream myself to sleep because the story was so boring. I couldn't help but MD, so at least I'd use it to my advantage. Thank you. I'll try this.

I had to ditch music at night and start taking sleep aids. It was a bit rough at first but I've been sleeping MUCH better.

I had to ditch music at night and start taking sleep aids. It was a bit rough at first but I've been sleeping MUCH better. I have ADD and I was on sleeping pills for a long time but they made me less functional so I decided to stop using them. Making my daydream boring really helped though. I've been sleeping good for a week now.
