So a few days ago I found out that I've got MD and I don't really know how to feel. I noticed these daydreams started actively affecting since 2017 but I never thought twice about it or knew that it was an actual disorder. But I think that I've been having MD for a longer period of time than I can remember I'm . Anyway, I would just like to know what the best way to quitting is, since MD has gotten in the way of my real life activities as well.

Welcome to the forum!
What helps differs slightly from person to person, but I would generally recommend mindfulness to teach yourself to come back to the present and figuring out your triggers so that you can either avoid them or learn to respond to them differently.
