Hi everyone,
I'm AutumnxForest and I found out about MDD about 8 hours ago, when I was looking for more info on ADHD, which I got diagnosed with a few weeks ago.
My earliest memories of MD are from when I was about 8 years old, and it simply never stopped.
It has put my life in danger a few times, but I never thought something was really wrong with me. I knew imaginary friends were a thing that was supposed to be bad in older children, but I felt like what I did wasn't anything like that. I told myself I was just "being creative." Last year I began searching for help with PTSD, depression, and suspected personality disorder. It took a year to get diagnosed with PTSD, depression and ADHD and testing will continue while I learn to manage ADHD.
All of this has eventually led to me finding this place, and I hope to get some insights into my own mind.

Welcome to the forum!
I honestly can't remember where, but I feel like I read something about there being a connection between ADHD and MD.
I generally recommend identifying your triggers and your core reasons for daydreaming as a first step. Doing so will help you understand a lot more about your daydreams.
