I know the main suggestion to get new daydream scenarios/inspiration is a change of pace i.e. reading, watching movies, playing video games, etc. but even with all that, I hardly get anything sustainable beyond a few days. I've been having issues for the past year of getting more inspiration for my daydreams. Even when I take a break and actually want to MDD, I don't have any new ideas and I've already ran my go-to ones to the ground a year ago so I just get frustrated and stop. Then, I was playing a video game, not even about MDD, and a one and a half minute cutscene gave me enough fodder for at least 2 weeks. Sadly, I ran it to the ground but it got me about unexpected times you get fodder for daydreams. I wanted to know if anyone else has gotten unexpected daydream material when you weren't even looking or trying. What have been unexpected instances where you got some good daydream material that you could use? And how long did it last?

Hi mine would have to be within different stages of my life to give me new stories they would last for 2 weeks with extreme urges to daydreaming all the time so would be at least 6 hours a day when a new story comes into play and then I can still daydream over the same story for 2 hours a day if I wanted to for another 2 weeks.
