Heyy my name is Isaiah I'm a 25 year old from Florida and I just learned about MD today actually! As a teen I was going through some serious depression, but I remember in Elementary(Primary) school I always got in trouble for staring at people or the wall for upwards of 10 minutes for "intentionally trying to creep them out and disrupt the learning environment" when in actuality its me daydreaming about what it would be like to have feet for hands or something silly like that. Now my daydreams take up I'd guess around 7 hours a day when I'm working and 12 hours when I'm off (time gets kinda wonky when I'm daydreaming)My triggers are repetitive motion, (I'm a cashier so I daydream a lot at work) really good or really bad scenes from tv/movies, most music, and especially reading and writing( it took me around an hour to write this ) And even worse, I apparently go I little cross-eyed and whisper to myself when I daydream my ugh. I overhear my coworkers and customers call me crazy and a psychopath from time to time which does bother me at all, but I do wish I could curb the daydreams a lil bit. Anyways thanks soooooo much to the admins moderators for creating and managing this space for people like me. Venting like this really makes me feel better

New Daydreamer
I'm going to try to meditate and write instead of daydreaming tonight.

Welcome. I just got here myself. I totally understand being called crazy or weird. I tend to whisper and make facial expressions when I daydream. People think I'm in a mood, but really I'm involved with an intense story I can't put down.
