Hi everybody! I have a question: Should I tell to my boyfriend (parents or friends) that I suffer maladaptive daydream? Personally I feel more confident if I tell it to my boyfriend because he realized that I feel more and I don´t answer the messages as fast as before the quarentine (before the quarentine I was in other city in the university and I could control the dreams). Now I´m all the time in my house (in a town) and I dream all the time, I can´t control it!

The answer probably depends on whether you believe that they will support you. Personally, I told my dad as well as a few of my friends, and they've been as understanding as they can be and have even helped me to curb the habit slightly when I've asked them to do something to keep me present. However, not everyone will have the same response, so it's up to you to judge whether telling them will be helpful or harmful.
