Hey there, i actually learned about this mental illness on tiktok. of course I knew that what I am doing is not normal but I didn’t know it was an illness. It started really early. I would imagine stories when I was on the train or in a car. I think it’s because I never had many friends and was looking for a method to entertain me I guess. I don’t know if it’s common but I “live” in the same storyline for four years now. It changes a lot and my character grows with me. Every time I find something in real life that fascinates me I uses it in my day dream. Of course there are other short stories i created inside my head but in the end it comes down to the original one. It is also very dark. But I can’t seem to stop. I think it’s different for others. Like I said idk if all daydreamers do that. yeah, that’s kinda it about my daydreams.
Hey Jazzi, I also have a daydream that has been a continuous story for years. My character changes and grows with me, and the story line often picks up events that happen in my life.I also didn't know this was a mental illness until very recently, and found out about it through a social media platform.
