Dear Maladaptive and Immersive Daydreaming Group,
Hello, my name is Rachel Kowis and I am an undergraduate student from High Point University. I’m currently conducting research on Maladaptive Daydreaming (MD) and Immersive Daydreaming (ID) and would like to ask you to participate! Participation in my study will be relatively brief, and only take approximately 45 minutes to complete. I’m interested in studying the personality characteristics of those who engage in maladaptive daydreaming and of those with the immersive daydreaming trait. The study consists of a few questionnaires and can be completed on a laptop or phone. To contribute, you need to engage in maladaptive daydreaming or have the immersive daydreaming trait, be at least 18 years old, and fluent in English.
