Hello, I'm Carl (18) and I've been daydreaming excessively since around middle school. I have always dismissed it as merely an odd habit of mine, so It feels strange to find out that its an actually condition that other people experience too. Judging by the stories I have read from other people in the last hour or two, I have a pretty mild case because it has never gotten in the way that much and I have always been able to get it under control before it caused any real problems in my life. But even though it isn't having any serious effects on my school work or job, I would still like to get rid of it because I've started to realize that I just don't have anything interesting to say about myself (hobbies, interests, etc.) since I spend so much of my free time just daydreaming. I even found myself pacing my room for about five minutes before making this post daydreaming about what it would be like to cure myself of these behaviors. Hopefully these websites and new information can help me grow out of my habits. Wish me luck

Welcome. I'm also still surprised that others daydream this much too.
Good luck :)

Hello Carl. Welcome to the forum. It's good that you notice your MD and want to improve it while you're still young. Good luck and I hope you can learn a lot from this forum.
