Im not too sure why i decided to be on here. But i wanted to know if anyone else does what i do so if you read this and you do the same then i would really love to talk about it..
So when ever im in any kind of car or truck or bus i daydream about me dying in that vehicle or the other way around like if anyone in the same vehicle dies and i live what would happen to me or the other way a round. I have daydreamed my funeral before and how my family and friends would act or feel and i end up crying alot. Like it feels so real in that moment but then i snap out of it and it all gone. And i also daydream that what if one of my family members died how that would be or my best friend would die. I dont know how to dell with this it started when i was like 13 years old when it started to happen more and more. And i have a really bad memorie lose. Does anyone know why that is??

Welcome to the forum KC
Do all your daydreams involve dying and how do you feel about them?
Sometimes the memory loss is simply because you have zoned out into the daydream world and are so focused on its content that you are not taking much of the real world in.

Welcome to the forum. This happens to me too, and gets much worse in times of big stress. You could have some anxiety issues, would have to explore that with a therapist. Reducing MD helps with it a bit, but it still pops up, some of the better advise I got when I had talked about it was to treat it like "intrusive thoughts", not quite the same thing but works pretty well! Plus there are tons of results when you google 'how to combat intrusive thoughts'.

I have had such daydreams, yes. When you say "when ever im in any kind of car or truck or bus" I interpret that to mean that you do this every time you are in such a situation and if that is true then no, I do not do that every time. I have done it once or twice that I have had that sort of daydream. I certainly have dreamed about dying, or avoiding dying. I more likely have that sort of daydream on a plane rather than a car, train or bus.

It could be anxiety or depression or both. I do this when I'm stressed out. I think its a way for me to sort of prepare myself for disastrous situations (when its other people) or to feel like others care about me (when its myself). The memory loss could be from the dissociative-like state you enter while daydreaming. Personally, I get it from my anxiety, excessive daydreaming, and migraines.
