My name is Ravi. I came across this term MD only yesterday. I was truly surprised to know that there are others with the same condition like me. Very happy to join this group. As far as i can remember i have had this condition since my childhood. In my case it has lead to attention deficit and chronic procrastination. It has had a major impact on my life. Bad academic records, inability to progress in job, unhappy relationships. It could have been so much better if i was able to control this. I spoke to 3 professional psychologists regarding this, but none of them were able to help me. They all felt it was some sort of depression or attention deficit syndrome. For me there is no particular trigger. I get it when i'm happy, bored or . My mood does not really matter. I'm how to stop this or at least cope with this so that it does not affect my day to day activity. Any help/tip to cope with severe MD will be greatly appreciated. Best. Ravi

Welcome to the forum! If you look around, there are plenty of threads that mention tips and tricks for dealing with your daydreaming. In particular you should check out the "MD Help and Research" Board. I hope you find the support that you're looking for here that you didn't get from your psychologists.
