This is a thread to list your favorite things in a thought-provoking kind of way.
The way it works is you look at the "what is your favorite..." question(s) that have been asked and answered before. You answer as many of those questions as you want and then ask (and answer) a new "what is your favorite..." question. The categories can be broad or specific. You can ask questions that are similar to questions asked before, but you can't ask the same ones. For example, if a previous question is "What is your favorite food?" you could ask "What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?" or "What kind of cuisine is your favorite?" The idea is to get to know each other better, beyond just answering a preset number of questions.
I will start. The question that I want to ask is "What was your favorite band when you were in your teens?"
My answer is, to make it simple because I could answer it a million ways, A Day To Remember.
Check back every once in a while to answer new questions that have been asked and to ask a new one in turn.
Questions asked so far (you can answer all of them or just some of them, whatever you want):
What was your favorite band when you were in your teens?
What is your favorite flavor of cake? Probably vanilla. That sounds boring, but its the only kind of cake I've had in years. But I used to make a lemon bundt cake that was AMAZING, so overall maybe that.
New Question: What is your favorite season?
My answer to the new question is probably spring or fall. Its not too hot and not too cold (My body has a hard time with the extremes--especially summer. California summers are hell to someone with a heat intolerance.). I like all of the birds in the spring and all of the colors in the fall.
Don't give up what you want most for what you want now.
