As a huuuuuuuge fan of TV series, I am feeling obliged to start this thread!
So, currently I'm following Vikings, Handmaid's Tale, Gotham and damn waiting for GoT and Black Mirror new seasons. Action and drama series are one of my fave triggers and ways of spending time.
So, what TV shows are you following? Is there one you're watching right now?

I love Gotham too!
Nothing inparticular on my watch list rn, just finished Sabrina and am rewatching Stargate SG1 until I find something better.
I really loved The Expanse, hoping for something new like that to come around.

I also hear the Expanse book series is cool - but I'm afraid of such massive stuff, so I'll just go for the series. Heeeey, who are your faves in Gotham? You heard the next season comes in the winter? |

Penguin, of course! And Bullock.
I havent read the books, but the Expanse TV show is very good. They do just kinda throw you in the deep end though, and it's not one of those shows where you can miss half an episode and know wtf is going on.

1. Killing Jerome
2. Changing Ivy's image

At least they have left me my precious Penguin, Riddler and Selina to root for!

I looove This Is Us, GoT and Black Mirror. Lately I've been watching Downton Abbey, Peaky Blinders, American Horror Story, The Handmaid's tale, Stranger Things... omg I think I'm gonna stop there cause there are so many. Two of my faves are also Supernatural and Sens8. I've been  about watching The Haunting of Hill House and Sabrina (but I'm afraid I might be disappointed, I really loved the original Sabrina show). Aaand now I think I'm gonna add Gotham to my watch list thanks to Alison and Dimmer, your enthusiasm got me curious. |

Ohhh YES SENS8 IS THE BEST SERIES IN THE WORLD.
Who haven’t tried it yet - I really recommend! It is very beautifully shot and the plot is full of both action and emotionally deep situations.

Ohhh yeah, The Haunting of Hill House, I forgot about that one! I finished it not long ago... really really liked it except, no spoilers, I hated the ending and was kinda pissed off.

Anyone following new episodes of Vikings? Anyone who is not is a fool! I love how they are developing Ivar's insanity - he's been my fave character from his very appearance and the way he is turning into a maniac is even DD-triggering a bit. And what do you think of the recent episodes? |

And what do you think of the recent episodes? I miss Ragnar with every season and don't think I'll ever get over that. I also miss Rollo - even French Rollo. One or two episodes as a guest doesn't cut it. I think I just became so wrapped up with the characters in seasons 1-3 that it's hard to let them go. Right now, I'm holding on to Lagertha and Floki with a fine thread wishing they don't kill them off. I still feel like Alexander Ludwig as Bjorn is considered a 'new' character for me. But as for recent episodes, I'm actually hating Ivar - but I think that's the point. But aside from the character, I can't stand the actor's baby-talk style of speaking. I know he's actually Danish, but yeesh, that accent. It doesn't matter who he's talking to, he baby-talks every word. Grates on me. The Iceland thing is moving really slow. And where the fuck did they find all those logs to build those houses when there's not a tree in sight? Okkk, let's agree to disagree about Ivar! I was glad to see Rollo at least as a guest but I really don't like that they made that twist with Bjorn being Rollo's son. That takes it absolutely nowhere. They seem just to make drama for the sake of drama in this matter. The Iceland story is one of the most interesting lines to me - but probably it's just my liking for Floki (btw the Skarsgard boys rock!). But really, please, make something out of it already - they seem to be turning it into no more than a series of fights. Never thought this way about the logs lol - but it's true! |

Tell Me A Story, legacies, Elementary, Flash, Supergirl, Lemony Snicket - a series of unfortunate events, DC Legends, The 100, Westworld, The Handmaid's tale, Runaways, Top of the Lake. And others. I liked the first season of The Handmaid's Tale but I'm afraid to watch the second one because the series itself is very depressing. But I'll defo watch it one day. |
