Hi everyone! It's a new month already, so we've got another goals/accountability thread!
For those who haven't participated in these threads before, their purpose is to give everyone a place to talk about their goals for the month, no matter how small they may be. Additionally, you can give and receive support, and the object is to help motivate yourself and others to achieve the goals.
My goals for the month are to get to that super important appointment that I have scheduled for the 18th, to keep working on therapy, mindfulness, and crochet projects, and to reteach myself chemistry and geometry before I hopefully start college this fall (I sucked at chemistry and I only took half of geometry way back in 8th grade, so despite knowing and understanding calculus, I'm very bad at trig), on top of working to balance my life so that I can get things done without feeling too overwhelmed.
Obviously, participation is not mandatory, but I would love to hear everyone's goals. It's okay if they're very small or very big and its equally okay if you don't have any defined goals at all. Everyone's brains work differently and what helps some people may not help others. Anyways, feel free to respond with your goals for the month of June! *cue my internal panic because it feels like the year just started and we're actually through five months already*

It has taken me a long time to do this course, just because of lack of time and MDD . I am in a much better place now and am trying to develop the habit of finishing things. (Bad events exacerbate MDD for me). its interesting that you are better in english than your first language, dutch. I'm sure you will do well too. Let's do this!

I really must get back to decluttering as I still have so much stuff. Its taking me forever to get even the smallest things done lately. 2. To attend some sort of creative workshop. I'll probably add more as the month goes on but for now I'll start small and hopefully I'll be more motivated this month. Good luck with your goals everyone!

How much have you done already, or have you just started it? Heya, I've done about 2 assignments already but I stopped as too much was going on (emotionally and practically). So I'm trying to make this the year that I finish everything.

We're almost halfway through June (already? jeez it doesn't feel like it)! Does anyone have any updates that they'd like to share or maybe some new goals for the remainder of the month?

I've been decluttering all day (finally) and making a little progress. I've also managed to book onto a short craft workshop. Its just a one off evening activity and doesn't happen until next month but actually ringing and booking was quite a big step for me. I'm hoping to find another one as I really need to challenge my agoraphobia a lot more.

Meeting the status quo, at work, when it comes to accrued income. Keep my sleep schedule consistent, a solid 7 hours. Workout, at least 4 times per week, for 1 hour. Drink enough water daily, 80 oz.

A short little update on one of my goals: I got to that appointment! It was super stressful at first, but by the end I had calmed down enough that we actually stopped at a store on the way home. I'm really proud of myself for getting to that appointment even though I was really stressed out and didn't want to go.

I am back to writing again I tired it a few months ago gave it up so now I am going to start reading and doing some writing and focus on that for the rest of this month. Still rather daydream than read but love writing and on a community on reddit that are helping me start it off good to have some support when you are finding new interests.

!! So for this month of june i signed up for roller derby and i went to the first practice 2day!!! All the ladies are very nice!!! Next practice is a week from 2day!!! I really hope i can keep motivated to keep going with it and become better at making friends!!! Honestly the fact that im doing this by myself is a pretty big step for me like without really knowing anyone there or without enlisting a friend to go with me!!! I really want to stick with this and not drop it!!! Ik my other posting in the forum have been kinda messy and like ranty so i wanted to share something positive!!! Im so happy for everyone who s been able to reach their goals this month no matter how small progress is it s still motion forward and its like so iconic!!!
