Hello: i am new to this page i found is about 20 minutes ago and i have spent that last couple minutes reading through all of your stories. i am very hesitant to post this, but i am very glad to know that there are other people who do the same thing that i do and that maybe i am not completely alone. this has been going on for a couple years now and i am leaving for college soon and wondering if there are any tips so help me while i am gone? thank you

I'd say get involved in campus life and try to study/work in public areas.

Welcome to the forum.
I agree with what Dimmer said. Throw yourself into real life as much as possible and get involved in student life. Many Mders find the busier and more fulfilled they are in their real lives the less time and need they have to escape into their daydreams.

Welcome to the forum! I second what Dimmer and Alvi said! Look for opportunities to make new friends and be active. And maybe something that allows you to use your creativity could be good...I think it could be helpful to replace MDD with another creative outlet
