I've been daydreaming since I was very little as early as 5 years old(I'm 26 now). My mother always assumed it was just me having a wild imagination, but as I got older I think it was about the age of 9 she contacted our family physician and he had said that it may be just me coping with the death of my father, who passed away when I was 2. As I got older I thought I would grow out of it. But as the years went by it just never happened. The symptoms accurately describe what I do. Such as pacing, murmuring and repetitive movements. Something I do is twirl a pencil between my fingers and pace, from anywhere between minutes to hours. I still live a happy life, it's comforting to know I'm not alone. This use to be a huge struggle for me.

Welcome! I always thought I would grow out of it too, the bar just kept moving and moving until I realized one day that that was never going to happen.

And i am happy you found us and with it i hope some closure
