Its a new month so its time for a new accountability/goals thread! As always, no goal is too small, this is just a place to share any goals you might have for the month and to receive encouragement in achieving those goals.
My goals for the month are to get my ID (I have an appointment on the 11th) and to continue working on exposure therapy, building up a crochet stock, and reteaching myself chemistry. And to continue balancing my life, since I'm not very good at that.
Feel free to add your goals for the month below.

I have put aside my writing and for this month and now I am focusing on my room now that I have a clear head time to clear out all my old and big clothes and getting arid of old things. It clears out your head too sort of therapeutic in its own way.

It clears out your head too sort of therapeutic in its own way. I completely agree with this. There have even been studies done on how clutter in your home affects your mental health. I have way to much stuff and I keep things for ages as I always feel I may need them again. Good luck with your sorting out.

I managed to sign up for a class but everything else I've been neglecting due to a stressful life.
I will try to get back on track today.

I managed to sign up for a class but everything else I've been neglecting due to a stressful life. I will try to get back on track today. I can understand this. When things get stressful it can be really hard to keep track of everything and keep your life in its usual balance. I hope that the second half of July is easier on you.

1. ) Drink more water.
I have been conscientious of this and I have improved. I'm not were I want to be yet, but I'm getting there.
2. ) Keep my work schedule.
This has been difficult because when something big is coming up, I start to go back to daydreaming to reduce the stress. I noticed that I have been daydreaming a lot more before I moved to Madison; however, it slowly started to go down to just three hours because I started to settle down and really love the area. It's much more comfortable here because they have a lot of sidewalks whereas Appleton was not very pedestrian friendly. It's also very green, and there is a walkway by the water. Great to get my creative juices flowing for my story that I'm making!
3. ) Keep my promises to myself and others (Or simply not make them if it's too much.)
Those close to me have been very understanding of me going through big changes so they haven't been asking me to do things for them, or to meet up. It's a big relief and we still communicate through text message (which is better for me.)

I wish to lessen the amount of movement I make when I daydream, stop making weird noises with my mouth, and lastly I hope to finish my two books for school.

I've finally written summaries for all my fictional characters in my zoids world. It took 2 journals and I got up to 194 characters. 161 characters I made up myself and 33 I borrowed from the zoids anime. The reason I got to so many was I made up 15 different zoidian races. Each with a national colour element and based on the question "What if there was a race that..... " The races are as following.
Mystics white spirit What if there was a race that was spiritual
Shades black darkness What if there was a race that was like zombies
Mortars red fire What if there was a race that was like warriors that viewed men as superior
Psis blue mind What if there was a race that was highly telepathetic and viewed women as superior
Electrons yellow electricity What if there was a race that was liberal to the extreme
Empathians pink emotions What if there was a race that was conservative to the extreme
Chillians teal ice What if there was a race that everyone was trying to be the richest in
Aquarians greenish blue water What if there was a race that was like mermaids
Mecans grey electronics What if there was a race that was ancient and assumed extinct that were the ones to first master piloting zoids
Magnites silver magnetic fields What if there was a race that collectively thought like a computer
Magestics purple magic What if there was a race that was like witches and wizards
Glaydlins green plants What if there was a race that was at one with nature
Solarians orange light What if there was a race that was like wondering nomads
Druades brown ground What if there was a race that was highly industrial
Airians colourless air What if there was a race that lived in the sky and looked like angels

I've personally never been very good at creating my own characters (with the exception of my idealized self) so I always end up borrowing existing characters from things. Its always nice to see how creative other people can be with their character creation.

I did okay on my goals this month.
I didn't manage to get to my appointment to get my ID. Luckily, I have a backup appointment scheduled for September 5th, and I'm really hoping that I'll be able to make it to that appointment because if I can't then I'm basically screwed for a couple more months.
I haven't been making a whole lot of progress with exposure therapy, but I have been keeping at it every day, and I'm at the very least not moving backward, which is a victory unto itself.
I've continued working on crochet stuff. I just finished (or mostly finished--I still have to weave in the ends) a really cute baby blanket. I've been working on some other smaller stuff too. I also am crocheting some face scrubbies and dishcloths as a housewarming gift for one of my friends.
Reteaching myself chemistry is going well. I'd like to be moving faster, but this month I've managed to get through the electronic structure of atoms, periodic table, chemical bonds, and gases and kinetic molecular theory sections on khan academy. I'm currently working on states of matter and intermolecular forces. And I can fairly confidently say that I understand most of it, which is more than I could say when I took chemistry the first time.
Everything that I've done this month, even though its not a lot, is extra impressive, since I've been being moderately incapacitated by headaches for most of the day, close to every day.
And finally, my life balance has been slowly getting better. I still get overwhelmed sometimes, especially when I think about The Future, but overall I'm balancing all of my tasks much better than I was just a few months ago. I've even unblocked music on my phone, which means that I'm daydreaming more than I was, and I'm still getting a reasonable amount of stuff done.
