Hi all! I’m an Aspie with MD who is very glad to find out she’s not alone! My first indication that maybe I was a little different was when a story that my friend and I had been writing for years came to an end—and I cried over it. My friend basically said there was something wrong with me for getting so attached to the story and characters. I’ve kept it going all these years and love my project so very much. It’s my happy place! So I am thankful to find others who share similar experiences! Daydreaming has gotten me in trouble at work and school. It’s a relief to know it’s not just a flaw in me but rather the door to a community of creative and beautiful people like yourselves. Lovely to meet you all!

Hey esauppe,
welcome, nice to meet you!
You wrote your dd into a story with someone else? That's interesting, how did you manage that? Did you write the story together and your contribution to it was stuff you dreamed up in between writing-sessions? How did you cope with feedback from your friend if it changed your dd-story-line?
I would love to hear more about that if you like to share it.
