I had hoped being in a relationship would stop my daydreaming but it didn't. The sad fact is its highly unlikely that a real life person and the relationship they can offer will ever live up to the people we create in our daydreams. In the real world people have their flaws, problems and they're unpredictable but in our dreams they're whoever we want and need them to be. I guess the only thing we can try to do is not compare our characters to the people we meet in the real world and accept them for who they are and not lament on who we wish they would be.
