I have a problem that needs to be solved quickly. Even though it might not be a huge problem, it bothers me a lot. Lately, I have grown lazier and lazier. I would rather daydream and listen to music than study, work on my projects. My exams are about to start, but I can't make myself do anything. Soon, I will participate in a debate competition but I still need to do my case. And I have another big speech coming, and I am not prepared for it, neither mentally or physically. So, I have 3 big topics coming up and I didn't do a thing. I keep telling myself ''Come on, let's do this! You can daydream and listen to music later, this has to be done now!'' but that doesn't motivate me even a bit.
I really need help with this. Does anyone have any idea how to make myself more productive? Even a little is going to be enough.

If the daydreaming is taking over that much I would recommend you do a bit of mediation and grounding exercises when you are zoning out and going into a daydreaming the threads are in help and research. For mediation try the stop breath and think app its really good just need to train our brain to stay in the present which is hard. Other than that set a routine for yourself to work on during the day and give you daydream a part of that routine so your brain does not just go there thinking more that you don't want to daydream will only make it harder.

Hey. Start by getting out what you need. Not doing the work, just get the materials and put them somewhere in sight. Once that's done. Take a min. Grab a coffee or something. Then, bring coffee to where your things are and do ten mins work. Set alarm on your phone. Even if just a sentence or header, make a start. See how you go from there. S

Possibly not helpful, but when I was in school and was having a hard time with motivation (though at the time I didn't realize that I had MD, so this is more of a general motivation help rather than an overcoming MD motivation thing), I would buy bags of mini marshmallows and eat one every time I did a problem or got through a section of my school stuff. Basically, it was just a small instantaneous (because I got it immediately) reward, and I do think that it helped me.
