Hi, well I'm new here- having just had a total meltdown, i know i need help with this MDD. I am 49, female with 4 amazing grown up kids, my husband ran out 3yrs ago & I haven't seen or heard from him since! But that was just one of a long line of crap i have had to deal with (im assuming that depression triggers the MDD) At the moment i am in a constant daydream and it is killing me, my SO is frightened to call in case I am in tears. It is impacting sooo much on my life that I decided I need to get help myself as no one else can understand what MDD is. So - I have loads of questions & ideas & i need to empty my head too,so I could end up boring everyone to death!!

Feel free to unload everything you want to talk about here or on other threads on the forum. The whole point of this forum is to help people and its understandable that you have a lot of questions and things to talk about. Try not to worry about boring people, I know that I personally always welcome questions, plus I've written enough things here on the forum that are long enough to be essays that I really can't talk :)
You're right about depression being a possible trigger for MD. A lot of us here on the forum have comorbid mental health conditions and they do often trigger our MD.
As I said before, you can talk about whatever you want to here and we'll do our best to help you work through it.
Welcome to the forum!
