Hi guys. I'm running a 5k in a santa outfit on December 8th.Running for a charity which provides a safe haven for women and kids fleeing domestic abuse. Figure, trauma was largely responsible for my descent into MDD. The charity provides a safe haven for these folks, and therapy /coping mechanisms for the kids. Hopefully, the help they provide will stop kids needing to descend into their imaginations. I've set up a Just Giving page, with donations paid directly to the charity. My employer will match up to five hundred pounds. I'm not asking for money from you guys, unless you want to, of course. More that you share my just giving page on your social media pages. I haven't put details here as I'm waiting for admin permissions. If this is not appropriate, please delete the post. If it is OK, please let me know. S

You can add links to your Just Giving oage in your bio or signature and , of course, openly discuss how raising money for charity helps you in your life and with your MD. DIB, and it's associated accounts, doesn't promote non-MD content though, so we won't be able to share it like that.

Hi. Was thinking more that folks just see the link and pass it to friends. Is that OK?x S I think that Dimmer was trying to say that you can have the link as long as its in your status or signature, but not as a separate thread as the charity is not MD related. You're still welcome to talk about the run and charity and such in threads (like your Day One thread), but having a separate thread dedicated specifically to fundraising for the charity pushes the boundaries that we have around promoting non MD related content.
