I desperately need to enter some sort of treatment program for my MDD as at 25 years old it has taken complete control and shaped the direction of my life. I've tried applying for every 'treatment online program' suggested but for all of them I've been met with a message stating that due to the overwhelming number of applicants, submissions are closed. I can't believe that for a condition with so many individuals seeking treatments there aren't more options or recognition.
In the interim, all Im hoping is for a way to get some sort of control my life and mind from out of the haze of MDD.

There aren't many options because of the fact that MD is so newly recognized. A lot of people may have it, but there is very little research done on it and very few doctors who know about it. There are a lot of good tips on this board specifically, so looking around would be a good idea. I actually have a thread here on using habit reversal training for your MD, which you might want to check out. Its about the closest thing I've ever seen to a treatment program outside of the one that the ICMDR is doing, which as you said, isn't accepting new applicants. I can help you with using it if you'd like.
